New seating comfort for driver in Fendt 211 Vario mower

Appointment with a seating specialist

We had helped a colleague of the driver with a new ergonomic tractor seat in the past. So contact with EBLO was quickly made. We made an appointment for the reaper to come to us in Zwijndrecht. Here, a seating specialist from EBLO could look at the problem. We were also able to try out some seats in our showroom.

Seating comfort while working in the fields

The problem was soon identified. The seat of the standard tractor seat installed by the manufacturer was far too uncomfortable. A much too short seat cushion and the flat back cushion could not give the upper legs and back the necessary comfort. Seating comfort is obviously very important when sitting for hours at a time while working in the fields.

Ergonomic seat

After trying out various seats, the Recaro Expert M eventually proved to offer the best seating comfort for the driver in this case. The Recaro Expert M is an ergonomic seat, equipped with seat depth adjustment, pneumatic lumbar support and adjustable side cheeks, among other features. The side cheeks keep the driver firmly seated in the seat.

Automatic air suspension system

The suspension of the old tractor seat in the Fendt 211 also left something to be desired. It is important to adjust the suspension to the weight of the user so that the suspension does not spring too much or too little. We recommended Grammer's MSG95A air-suspension system. At the push of a button, this suspension system automatically adjusts to the correct weight. Ideal if the machine is used by several people. This way, the suspension is always instantly set correctly.

Installation of the tractor seat

We were able to install this Grammer/Recaro ‘special’ immediately. We transferred the control arm on the right-hand side from the old seat to the new seat. In the end, the new tractor seat immediately gave excellent seating comfort. We wish the driver many good hours in the Fendt 211 Vario mower.
