EBLO is strong in making seats that perfectly fit the individual's seating needs. To properly identify these needs EBLO performs a pressure measurement using a specially designed pressure measurement mat. This mat measures on more than 250 points, which gives a nice and clear insight in the origin of seating problems.
Tripple seat with good pelvic support
Recently our ergonomist delivered a skip seat for a wheelchair dependent employee. Correct support of the trunk balance was the starting point. The back cushion was adjusted at the work location to the seating needs and activities. The choice was made for a Jay seat and position cushion from the company Sunrice Medical. This cushion provides the right pelvic stability and support. Thanks to this cushion, sitting through, decubitus, is prevented.
EBLO takes the pain out of tailbone complaints
For a customer with tailbone complaints, our ergonomist developed a special seat cushion that reduces pain when sitting. "Too often I see fellow seat experts selling a cushion with a hole in it, a so-called tailbone recess. Despite the fact that this relieves pain, it is not a good sitting solution. Later on, it can actually cause more congestion pain," says our ergonomist. A cushion with the correct seat foam/material techniques gives better results. Based on medical knowledge and practical experience, our ergonomist went to work and developed a cushion that ensures less pain when sitting. The client with tailbone complaints quickly noticed that this cushion reduced the complaints and is very happy with the result!
Tailor-made seat for Volvo shovel
For a Volvo shovel with CDS steering we made a custom-made ergonomic seat combining the two seat brands ISRI and ASS. The purpose of this custom-made seat was to eliminate sitting problems of the operator.
Therefore, the seat has an automatic air suspension ISRI with built-in compressor and adjustable shock absorber. Shocks and vibrations are thus perfectly absorbed. In addition, the seat is equipped with heating (24V), a double pneumatic lumbar support and a safety headrest. All in all a very comfortable rich adjustable seat!
Seat cushion as new
If a cushion is not (or no longer) comfortable, or if it appears that people are sitting crookedly on a cushion causing neck or back problems, a seat cushion can be adjusted to make it comfortable again and support the body properly.
Pieces of the original foam parts of the cushion are replaced by foam parts of a different material. Pantera cold foam is often used. This material is resilient, has a long life and provides good support. In addition, it is anti-allergenic. For pillows that carry a body weight of 100 to 150 kg. flock foam is suitable.
