The Norsap 800 seat leather is a static/unsuspended seat. The seat has no base or suspension. The seat is used as a boat seat or helm seat. The seat comes standard with:

A seat without a base can be useful in situations where a standard mounting solution is not possible or desirable. It offers the freedom to mount the seat, for example, on a raised platform, on rails or on a base already mounted on the boat. Of course, such mounting does require appropriate technology or parts.
