EBLO celebrates 10 years in Zwijndrecht

Ten years ago EBLO moved into the former premises of mattress manufacturer Pullman on Schrijnwerkersstraat, Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands. After 16 months of extensive renovation work, the building is now fully modernized and future-proof. Reason for celebration!
From seat expert to seat expert
In 1986, founder Elias Johannes (John) Blokland, from whom the name EBLO is derived, began selling seats for forklifts and tractors from a garage box. 'After growing out of our size a few times, our services and offerings expanded even further and we are now a major player in the seating field both nationally and internationally. In 2014, EBLO moved to Zwijndrecht.
Energy-efficient renovation
EBLO took up residence in the former home of mattress manufacturer Pullman in De Geer business park. This building was touted as spacious, but a great deal needed to be done. During the renovation, the walls and roof remained largely intact; the facade and interior walls fell rigorously prey to the urge to renew. This was all managed by architect Arend Clemens and Jasper Bravenboer Management in construction projects.
The specialist for over 40 years
EBLO Seating is a Dutch company that has specialized in solving seating problems for more than 40 years. It has grown into a major national and international player in the field of seating, with a team of over 40 employees. EBLO offers a wide range of ergonomic seating for various sectors, including agriculture, construction, marine, material handling and public transport.

On to a great next 10 years
We did not let EBLO's ten-year presence in Zwijndrecht pass by in silence. We celebrated this festive day with cake for the entire staff, cut by Alderman Tycho Jansen of Zwijndrecht Municipality. EBLO looks forward to a successful next 10 years!
