EBLO contributes to wheelhouse refurbishment with steering seats

At the Hellevoetsluis Marine Cadet Corps, boys and girls of different ages discover in a fun way what goes on aboard a sailboat or large ship. Here they learn what needs to be done to make a long journey across the sea. They don't do this in a classroom, but immediately apply everything in practice on board a ship, on which they experience a sailing trip a few times a year.

At the beginning of 2018 we were approached by the Zeekadetkorps with the question if EBLO wanted to contribute to the renovation of the wheelhouse of De Zeefakkel. Of course EBLO is happy to contribute to this. We made sure that two beautiful UnitedSeats C4 steering seats in artificial leather completed the wheelhouse.

Over the past few months, the children and supervisors have been refurbishing the boat and wheelhouse. Last summer, about a year and a half later, the UnitedSeats seats were placed in the rebuilt wheelhouse. Finally, the group made a nice trip to England together for over two weeks.
