EBLO Race Day great success
Last Friday the EBLO Race Day Zandvoort took place with the EBLO Racecar under the guidance of our CEO Evert Mallie. It was a pleasant day alternating between sun and rain which provided extra sensation on the race track!
The day's racing team included some lucky winners who had completed our survey to launch our new website. After receiving them, they were immediately thrown in at the deep end with an interesting explanation of the technology behind racing. From operating the car to cornering technique: everything was covered.

This was followed by a good lunch, with some participants opting for a light snack before getting into the Race Porsche. Not a bad idea, as not everyone's stomach holds up equally well at a speed of 260 kilometers per hour over Zandvoort's 4 km F1 circuit.
For the drivers who had to wait a while there was enough entertainment in the pit box. At the race simulator they could practice making a good turn at speed. Also the responsiveness of the participants was put to the test. A Fitlight Trainer recorded the fastest times, after which the top competitors received a nice bottle of champagne and a medal.
Also on display in the pit box were EBLO racing seats to introduce guests to our range including Racetech seats and car seats from the Recaro brand. They meet the highest safety standards and are known for their ultimate sturdiness and ergonomic seating comfort. The passenger seat of the EBLO Race Porsche is also a Racetech seat. In addition, Racetech seats can be found for years in the rally car of Tim and Tom Coronel!
Afterwards, all participants received an 'official' race certificate because getting into the Race Porsche took some courage. We look back on a successful day and want to thank all participants!
