ISRI NTS customised seat for Volvo truck drivers
Our client Schenk Tanktransport from Papendrecht attaches great importance to quality and safety for its personnel. The standard seat of one of their Volvo 420 trucks is not suitable for the two drivers, who differ considerably in height and size. EBLO was asked to deliver a seat for each driver that would fit their body and individual seating needs.

During the intake by our ergonomist with both drivers, it immediately became clear that it would be best to replace the standard seat with a seat with more adjustment options. For instance, the standard seat could not be reclined far enough for the taller driver and the lumbar support was far too low. This sometimes made the driver feel folded up in the seat.

For his smaller colleague, the standard seat was too high. This was partly because the seat did not have an adjustable height setting and a get-up and get-down button. This driver also sat too deep in the seat. A seat that could be properly adjusted to suit the bodies of both drivers was therefore desirable.

Our ISRI NTS seat proved to be the most suitable for the job thanks to its many adjustment features, such as an adjustable height setting and a get-up and get-down button. To make sure the seat fits the body of the two drivers perfectly and can be adjusted properly, EBLO delivers custom-made seats. The NTS seats are therefore customized and delivered entirely to our customer's wishes.
A word:
"The seat adjustment sections for the taller driver have been extended, allowing the seat to be adjusted further back. To ensure that both drivers have enough comfort and proper back support, both seats have a double (high/low) pneumatic lumbar support. These can be adjusted independently of each other.
The existing seat cushion has been flattened with durable Pantera foam, so that even the smaller driver is much better seated. With the result that finally both gentlemen are sitting well together during their long journeys in alternation, but above all ergonomically well!"
