Kuipers opts for even more seating comfort
The Kuipers Funderingstechnieken company is careful with its drivers. When an operator of one of their pile drivers reported back problems, action was taken immediately. Machine supplier Wolthman, who installs ISRI chairs as standard, was approached and said: "Go to EBLO! And so it happened.
The journey from the Frisian town of Lemmer to EBLO's showroom in Zwijndrecht was long, but more than worth it as it turned out. André P van der Hoeven received the driver and mapped out his wishes and preferences in terms of seating. Our ISRI seat, which comes standard in Kuipers' pile drivers, is comfortable. But because every person is different, there is always room for improvement.
Pile-driving machine operators often spend hours working in a concentrated position. A seat that can be adjusted in many ways is therefore no luxury. Whereas the standard seat already offers a wide range of adjustment options, including vertical springing, weight adjustment and height-catalogue adjustment, the new seat offers just that little bit more.

This driver's first requirements were better support for the lower back and a wider, more comfortable seat. Seat heating was also a great wish, so that it would be comfortably warm in the cabin during the winter months.
Eventually the choice was made for a seat combination ISRI chassis and a Recaro Expert seat, to the great satisfaction of the driver and colleagues! Meanwhile EBLO has already delivered several of these chair combinations. The joystick holder can be folded on the left side for easy mounting and dismounting.

We were able to meet this wish by supplying a seat combination that is very extensively adjustable and is also equipped with all the comforts of seating: a large, wide seating area with comfortable cushions, a pneumatically adjustable lumbar support and seat heating make sitting in this chair a pleasure and one that can be maintained for a long time without developing physical problems. The weight adjustment and the folding console on the left also contribute to this."
