The right seats for converted oilfield truck
For an Austrian customer who converted an old oilfield truck into a modern truck, EBLO supplied a comfortable driver's and passenger's seat.

These are requests that you don't see every day: supplying seats for a converted oilfield truck. In its early years, the truck served within the supply and production of oil and gas. First in America, later transferred to Europe in Austria. "After years of changing hands, the vehicle finally served as a mobile home," explains the customer. "With the character of a ship's cabin." When the truck was ready to be demolished, the customer bought it.

This is how the idea of configuring a heavy tractor originated. It has everything a vehicle needs including strong axles and suspension. The conversion began with the dismantling of the superstructure. Then followed step by step visual repairs to the frame, wheels and cab. "Technically, I didn't have to do anything, as the vehicle only has 30,000 miles and 2,500 hours of operation on it," continues the Austrian.

What remained was new seats for the vehicle. Because the cabin was originally designed for an oilfield truck, the existing seats were small and simple. Not very comfortable. The Americans were not very helpful, according to the customer, they hardly send parts to Europe. For EBLO sending parts was no problem at all, so the choice was quickly made. In addition, the customer praised EBLO's cooperation and good service. Thanks to EBLO the vehicle is now completely finished!

We chose the UnitedSeats MGV25/C7 combination: a richly equipped seat with weight adjustment, a high backrest adjustable in length and a good suspension.
