Seat belt system
The seat belt system, or GBS, is a combined safety system that provides the driver with protection in case of the truck flipping over as well as in case of a frontal accident. The legs are also protected when the truck tips over.
The GBS has an adjustable lock section which is adjustable in both angle and length. After a simple unlocking the system opens automatically. The GBS is equipped with an extra long roller belt, which makes it easy to open the battery cover. When the lock is unlocked, the system opens automatically and the belt unrolls.
Special roller belt
The GBS comes standard with a special roller belt, which is mounted at a special angle on the right side. This belt gives a lot of freedom of movement but blocks when the truck drives on a gradient greater than 15°.
Available with additional safety measure
It is possible to adjust the opening speed by means of the adjustable oil-filled damper. As an extra safety measure, this system can be delivered with an electronic safety device, which makes driving with an open system impossible.
